A good field of
24 runners for the

After a ‘clay drive’
the Judges were able
to test the dogs with
‘unseens’ retrieves

At the end of the
2nd Round, and after
a break for lunch,
10 dogs were taken
through to the next
round which began
with a ‘clay drive’
by the water
  
                   
           
 

After the ‘drive’ the
dogs were given two
‘unseen’ retrieves –
one across the water
and one on the land
         
   
6 dogs were taken
forward to a ‘walk-up’
through the bracken
and heather where
they were tested on
challenging ‘marks’
across the ‘line’
  
                   
           
 

A final check of their
books before the
Judges decide they
have a result
